Malaysia has dozens of official payment portals. Bayaran.com's only job is to get you to the right one, quickly, without getting in the way.
What we actually do
Bayaran.com is a directory, not a payment service. That distinction matters, so we say it plainly on every page.
The problem
Road tax is renewed at one place. Summonses are paid at another. Income tax, EPF, PTPTN, assessment tax, zakat, electricity, water, internet — each has its own portal, its own login, its own address you half remember.
So people search for them. And search results for "bayar saman" or "renew roadtax" are exactly where phishing sites wait, wearing a government logo and a domain that looks nearly right.
What we do about it
We keep one hand-checked list of Malaysian payment services and the official address of each. Search it, click, and you land on the agency's own website — JPJ, LHDN, KWSP, PDRM — or on the licensed provider or appointed agent that runs the service.
- Every destination is verified against the operator's own domain before each release.
- Outbound links carry
rel="noopener noreferrer", so the destination gets no scripting access back to your tab. - Nothing here is a login page, so there is nothing here for anyone to phish.
Where the money goes
Nowhere near us. Bayaran.com has no payment gateway, no merchant account, no wallet and no way to receive a ringgit from you. When you pay, you pay the agency or the provider directly, on their site, under their terms.
We are not a Bank Negara–approved payment system operator, and we do not need to be, because we never touch the transaction. If that ever changes, we will say so before it does — not after.
